Parents of midshipman killed in train derailment sue Amtrak

The Queens parents of a Naval Academy midshipman killed in May's Amtrak derailment are suing the railway over his horrific death - and pledge to donate any payout to a commemorative scholarship.

Justin Zemser, 20, who wanted to become a Navy SEAL, was in the middle of the third car of the Amtrak Regional Train 188 as it headed north of Philadelphia on May 12, 2015, and sped around a sharp curve, derailing. Zesmer was thrown from his seat, fracturing his skull, spine and ribs.
