MEDICAL MALPRACTICE
Medical malpractice is the failure of a health care provider, usually a doctor, hospital, or health care institution, to provide a patient with treatment that satisfies the customary standard of care provided by the medical industry. The failure to measure up to the standard of care must result in an injury to the patient.
