$25,000,000 to Injured Construction Worker

A 62-year old construction worker, seriously injured when the roof the school he was working on collapsed, received a $25,000,000 settlement due to the negligence of multiple parties. The accident took place at the Colonial elementary School in Pelham, New York in 2009, and was caused by improper design, construction techniques, and the failure to provide the man with required safety equipment. The father of two was represented by Tom Moore of KDLM, and the Westchester case was settled in June 2016.
